Good Friday, Great News!

Jesus demonstrated the greatest Love when He humbled Himself, left heaven, came to earth, and was born to die for our sins. Jesus lived the completely pure life that no other person has ever been able to live. Jesus taught us, loved us, performed miracles, and died for what each person has done wrong. Jesus did this willingly. God planned for Jesus to die for us. No one else could do what Jesus did for us. Jesus is the only Savior for all people, and He died for you. God is Love, and His love for each of us is so great that He sacrificed Himself for us.

Today is Good Friday. I am remembering Jesus’ great sacrifice for each of us. Jesus created the world, yet He was willing to die for all people. Our great opportunity to have our sins taken away, to be made clean and whole, does not come from our own efforts, but from God’s great gift of the sacrificial death of Jesus in our place. Jesus died for each of us. This is a personal gift to each person in the world. Everyone has a choice.

Will you believe and receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord? I hope you will love Jesus and surrender your life to Him. Pray to God, tell Him what you have done that was wrong against Him, and ask Him to forgive you. Ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord. Read the Bible in the New Testament, and start with the 3rd chapter in the book of John. Read a chapter a day, and then read Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Pray to God and ask Him to teach you. You will begin an amazing journey with Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Keep learning what God wants you to do from reading the Bible and praying to Jesus. Join a church where the people love Jesus and follow the Bible, where they believe in Father God, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. May God bless you as you receive new life in Jesus.
